Event Description:
The Greater Sitka Arts Council is offering a stage combat class for those 5th grade and older. If you have ever wondered how stage fights happen, now is your chance. Ira Snelling will instruct. Learn Give and take, blocks and dodges, falls & throws, combat math, partner work and how to perform a small duel. Applications may be found at the arts council website www.thinkartthinksitka.com. The deadline is March 21st. Class will be held on March 22nd and 23rd at the Yaw Art building on the SJ Campus from 1pm to 4pm. Cost is $30.00 for advance registration and $40.00 at the door.
