Helena Sardinha -Driven Equations

Bio
Helena Sardinha is a creative TV and film producer/director based in Los Angeles. Co-founder of Driven Equation, an entertainment production company, Helena has been showcased in different film festivals, gaining recognition on her field of work. Besides working with production, Helena also teaches film nationally and internationally. Currently, Helena is the creator of the upcoming series Sitka - TV Show and is a faculty member of the Sitka Fine Arts Camp.

Presentation
The correlation between films as an image-making tool and the perception of touristic destination results in the phenomenon of film-induced tourism. The evidence that has been discovered, points towards the possibility of entertainment content to attract tourists, generate awareness of certain areas and arouse curiosity. This conversation will evaluate the important topics regarding the matter, and present stronger insight into the nature of productions which can induce tourism while strategically maximizing revenue from the economic and cultural point of view.
