Heather will present the recently released report on the economic impacts of the Alaska Marine Highway System.

Biography
Heather Haugland is a senior project manager for McDowell Group. She has been with the firm 16 years and has studied all aspects of Alaska?s economy including the oil industry, mining, seafood, Alaska Native issues, and health care. She has particular expertise in the tourism and education sectors. She now works in Bellingham after spending 12 years in the firm?s Juneau office. Heather graduated with honors from Harvard University, and was named a Top 40 Under 40 by the Alaska Journal of Commerce.
